Chicken and sweetcorn

Emma has definately become a meat eater. She gums it until it is really mushy, then gobbles it up. Chicken with baby sweetcorn is a real favourite at the moment.

We tried fresh tortolini today. She kind of sucked the inside out, but didn't seem that bothered about the pasta bit!
Lots more lunching out is planned this week, so I will have to get my thinking cap on for some BLW friendly food that she can eat while on my knee. Nothing too messy!

I had a steak burrito for lunch today and it was great. I expect it's exactly the sort of thing that Emma might like: small pieces of beef; rice; beans; cheese and some bread to hold it all together. Have you thought of taking her to a Tex-Mex restaurant and giving her a burrito in a bowl?

haha - I tried a kind of pitta bread sarnie thing, but she just pulled it to pieces. It was a while ago though, so maybe it is time to try again. Don't think she could get her mouth round a real burrito yet, but I am sure I could rustle up something similar! :-)
